The Vicksburg Convention Center (VCC) and the City of Vicksburg have announced Jester nominees for the annual 2024 Mardi Gras Jester’s Ball, which will take place Sat., Feb. 3.

Jester nominees have been submitted by the Ball committee and an online poll has been created for the public to vote for the 2024 Jester.

Jester nominees were chosen based on their community involvement and their tireless efforts to be champions for Vicksburg, the VCC said in a release.

The Jester will be announced at the opening of the ball.

This year’s nominees include David Blackledge; Amanda Harris; Walter Osborne; Debbie Haworth Peacock; Charles Pendleton; Christine “Chris” Rials; and Larry Walker.
