Mr. Charlie Washington Jr. passed away Wed., Jan. 3, at Merit Health River Region.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. Sat., Jan. 13, at Faith Christian Center with Dr. Ollie Hardaway Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Fri., Jan. 12, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home from 1 until 6 p.m. with family present from 5 until 6 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Janice “Rita” Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a beautiful daughter, Yolanda James of Mansfield, Texas; one grandson, Quavion Barnes; one brother, James Washington of Vicksburg; six sisters, Joe Ann Black, Erma Humes, Bettye Oliver, Barbara (Michael Sims), Gwendolyn Lewis, and Paula Calcote (Leonard Calcote Sr.) of Vicksburg; one brother-friend, Larry Sweet; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
