Leadership Vicksburg visits State Capitol

A group of young professionals from Warren County visited the Mississippi Capitol on Wednesday, Jan. 10 to meet with legislators and observe state government in action. The group, known as Leadership Vicksburg, took a tour of the capitol and heard from Rep. Oscar Denton, Rep. Kevin Ford, Rep. Jeffery Harness and Sen. Briggs Hopson.
The Leadership Vicksburg program is a nine-month program with the Vicksburg-Warren Economic Development Partnership that provides participants with educational and leadership opportunities. The group visits local businesses, organizations and government entities to learn about their impact on Vicksburg and Warren County.
