Triple-doubles are hard to come by in high school basketball — unless Jae’la Smith is involved.

The Porter’s Chapel Academy senior had her second triple-double of the season with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals as the Lady Eagles rolled to a 74-31 victory over Prairie View Academy on Saturday.

Smith narrowly missed an even rarer quadruple-double, as she finished with eight assists. She made three 3-pointers while going 12-for-23 from the floor. She was 6-for-7 at the free throw line.

Avery Wallace and Allison Wilmore scored 10 points apiece for Prairie View.

PCA built a 35-17 lead by halftime and was not threatened at all in the second half as it remained undefeated.
