A little rain couldn’t keep the crowd away from this week’s Classic ‘Sip Fest activities.

Friday included the Stroll Over the Mississippi River on the High- way 80 bridge, as well as the Sock Hop at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center.

Thursday evening, stores, restaurants, and galleries downtown hosted the Classic Shops and Soda Pops event, as Downtown
Vicksburg Main Street personnel passed out bottled Cokes while local artist Evan Brister performed at Crawford Square.
