Warren Central baseball player Ryan Nelson hit an RBI triple and pitched one inning of scoreless relief in a 9-0 victory over Long Beach on Thursday.

Nelson had three strikeouts in his one inning on the mound, and was 1-for-3 with the triple, a walk and an RBI at the plate. The Vikings’ leadoff hitter has a .500 on-base percentage and has scored 10 runs this season.
