City officials encourage use of CODE RED texting service

City of Vicksburg officials are recommending residents register for CODE RED, a texting services delivering timely, relevant updates on critical matters, such as water main breaks and road closures.

To start receiving texts from the City of Vicksburg and stay informed about these issues and more, simply: Text the keyword “VICKSBURG” to 844-371-7878, official said.

As tornado season approaches, officials said it is even more important that residents are aware of warnings and other information being released by city and county officials.
