The National Weather Service (NWS) in Jackson has issued at tornado watch for ares of Mississippi and northeast Louisiana, including Warren County.

The tornado watch was issued at 7:03 p.m. and will continue until 2 a.m.

The NWS issues a tornado watch when weather conditions in an area indicate an increased risk for severe weather that may be capable of producing a tornado.
