Vicksburg Warren School District officials have announced schools will be dismissed early today (Monday, March 25) due to the afternoon threat of inclement weather.

VWSD elementary schools will dismiss at 1:30 p.m., while junior high and high schools will release students at 3 p.m., school district officials said in a release.

“Due to the predicted severe weather in the area, all VWSD students and staff will be released early on Monday, March 25, 2024. We have consulted with the Emergency Management Agency and they have advised that dangerous weather including damaging winds, possible tornadoes, and heavy rain is expected.”
