VPD: Pursuit of stolen vehicle leads to felony charges for theft, causing minors to commit felonies

A man authorities say led Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) deputies on a chase in a stolen vehicle has been taken into custody and charged with felony theft, as well as causing the two minors in the vehicle with him to commit felonies.

Vicksburg Police Department (VPD) officials said Tuesday, March 12, 23-year-old Shyrell Jerusalem Myles and two juveniles led deputies on a chase in a stolen vehicle that eventually ended in Vicksburg.

Myles was arrested Monday and charged with one felony count of the theft of a vehicle, as well as two felony counts of directing/causing a youth to commit a felony. Myles’ bond was set at $75,000 and he is bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

The two juveniles have been identified but are under the supervision of Youth Court.
