The Sandlot of Vicksburg 8U Legends, a baseball travel team, went out like lions in March by winning the Grand Slam Tournament that was played at Sports Force Parks in Vicksburg on Saturday.

Team members are Clayton Muirhead, Carter Lindsey, Nicholas Tillotson, Kai Tillman, Adam Harrison, Austin Malone, Antwan Reeves Jr., Darrington Carraway, Nathan Palmer, Richie May, Mims DeMoville, Andrew Amborn, Pierson O’Briant and bat boy Dak Harrison.

The team is coached by Karl Minor, Dan Muirhead and Roosevelt Brown.
