The Junius Ward Johnson YMCA’s 75th Annual Easter Sunrise Service will be held Sunday at 7 a.m. atop Fort Hill in the Vicksburg National Military Park and officials say it is the perfect blend of different denominations coming together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.

The Rev. Nathaniel Stamper of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Rev. Dexter Jones of Triumphant Baptist Church will serve as the ministers, while music will be led by Hunter Lynch of Highland Baptist Church.

“We’re expecting to have beautiful weather, so we’re hoping everyone will come out and join us,” YMCA Executive Director
Phillip Dorion said.
