LSU-Shreveport baseball player Vantrel Reed, a Warren Central alum, went 7-for-12 with three RBIs and five runs scored in a three-game sweep of Southwest March 28-29.

Reed, a junior infielder, has a 12-game hitting streak and for the season is batting .368 with five home runs, 30 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He also has 12 stolen bases.
