A bomb threat called in to a Vicksburg business Friday afternoon remains under investigation by Vicksburg Police Department (VPD) this week.

The threatening call, made to Community Choice Financial on Iowa Boulevard, was placed Friday at approximately 4:23 p.m., VPD said in a statement.

“Officers cordoned off the area around the business and conducted a thorough search,” VPD officials said. “No explosive device was found.”
