The Vicksburg Police Department (VPD) is actively investigating a report of shots being fired on East Main Street Sunday.

“On Sunday, April 14, 2024, at 3:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of East Main Street for a report of shots fired,” VPD officials said in a statement. “There, it was determined that two vehicles and one residence had been struck by bullets. Spent shell casings were recovered at the scene. This case is under investigation.”

VPD said no one was injured and asks that anyone with any information regarding the incident call the department at 601-636-2511.
