Porter’s Chapel Academy track athlete Ansley Conway won two events and finished second in three others at the MAIS District 4-3A junior high meet on Tuesday.

Conway won the girls’ 400 meters and long jump. She clocked a time of 1 minute, 18.29 seconds in the 400 meters, and leaped 13 feet, 5 inches in the long jump.

Conway also finished second in the 100 meters, with a time of 14.94 seconds, and was on the 4×200 and 4×400 meter relays that both finished second.

PCA’s varsity team will be in action Friday, when it hosts the District 4-3A boys and girls meets. Events will begin at 9 a.m. at Vicksburg High School.
