Vicksburg man arrested for possession of cocaine, marijuana

A Vicksburg man was in court Friday after being arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Officials with Vicksburg Police Department (VPD) said 52-year-old Willie Tyrone Holden was arrested Thursday after officers were dispatched to Oak Street for a report of a suspicious person.

Holden was found to be in possession of three-and-half grams of cocaine and 59 grams of marijuana, VPD said.

Holden appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court Friday on charges of felony possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. Judge Penny Lawson bound him over to the Warren County Grand Jury on a $30,000 bond.
