Game 3 of Warren Central vs. Grenada softball series postponed until Tuesday

Warren Central and Grenada will take a dramatic pause in their softball playoff series.
Monday’s rain forced the teams to postpone the deciding Game 3 until Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Warren Central’s Lucy Young Field.
The teams split the first two games of the MHSAA Class 6A series, with each winning on the road. Grenada won Game 1, 3-0, and Warren Central took Game 2 on Saturday, 11-3.
The winner of Game 3 will advance to face South Panola in the second round beginning Friday in Batesville. South Panola, the Region 1-6A champion swept Ridgeland in its first-round series.
