summer months are currently underway.

“The City of Vicksburg has movement on Catfish Row Children’s Art Park and the grass cutting along the city’s major thoroughfares,” Ward 2 Alderman Alex Monsour said in a statement. “The City of Vicksburg has completed the procurement process for replacing play- ground equipment and the surfacing area at Catfish Row Children’s Art Park and Splash Fountain. The work is expected to be completed in July. The park will still be accessible while work is underway. The splash fountain officially opened for the season in early April.”

Additionally, Monsour said work to keep grass low on major thoroughfares across the city are scheduled.
