Four charged with felonies after traffic stop yields meth, gun

Four Vicksburg residents are facing felony drug charges after a traffic stop Tuesday led law enforcement to the discovery of methamphetamines and a stolen firearm. 

According to information from Vicksburg Police Department (VPD), a traffic stop near the intersection of Hope and Clay streets led to the arrests of 22-year-old Jacques Bailey, 27-year-old Aja Nelson, 22-year-old Jamarious Ragsdale, and 18-year-old Londarious Ragsdale, all of Vicksburg.

Bailey, Nelson, and Jamarious Ragsdale were each charged with possession of methamphetamine and each received a $5,000 bond from Judge James Jefferson in Warren County Justice Court Wednesday, before being bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Londarious Ragsdale was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a stolen firearm. He also appeared before Jefferson in Warren County Justice Court Wednesday, where he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury on a $5,000 bond.
