A Vicksburg woman was arrested this week and charged with aggravated assault after authorities say she stabbed her boyfriend twice.

According to information from Vicksburg Police Department (VPD), 28-year-old Jameelah Ross was taken into custody Wednesday after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in his left side and arm.

Ross appeared before Judge James Jefferson in Warren County Justice Court Wednesday, where she received a bond of $75,000 and was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
