Mr. and Mrs. Louis Glazier Baine III of Ridgeland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Barrett Olivia Baine, to Brendan Lee Alpheaus Beesley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Valory G. Beesley of Port Gibson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Glazier Baine, Jr. of Jackson and the late Robert Donald Stigler and Betty Barrett Stigler of Greenwood.

Miss Baine is a 2013 graduate of Jackson Academy. She attended Holmes Community College and was a member of the Double AA Soccer Team and the College Soccer Association. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor of Business Marketing degree. She is currently employed as a director with a physician’s group in Flowood.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Alpheaus Beesley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Endrew Lee, all of Port Gibson.

Mr. Beesley is a 2010 graduate of St. Aloysius High School and a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. He is the co-owner and president of V & B International, a hardwood sawmill in Port Gibson.

The couple will exchange vows during an intimate ceremony with close friends and family Dec. 3, 2024, in Verbier, Switzerland.
