Perry Lawrence Dillard, a Vicksburg native, passed away Sunday, May 12, in his home in Gulfport, following a brief illness. He was 74.

He was a licensed registered pharmacist and had attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He served in the U S Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Bessie Richardson Dillard Jr.; his brothers, Thaddeus Dillard, Larry Dillard, John Dillard, and William Richardson; and his sister, Flora Howard.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Tolliver Dillard of Gulfport; his sons, Michael Tolliver and Kelvin Tolliver, both of Gulfport; his daughter, Shelia Tolliver of Gulfport; brother, James Dillard of Vicksburg; his sisters, Pastor Linda Sweezer Rowster, Marylin Gayle Dillard, and Bessie Mae Funches, all of Vicksburg; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 19, in the House of Peace Worship Church, 1301 Holly St., at 2 p.m. with Pastor Linda Sweezer Rowster officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 18, in the funeral home from 5 until 6 p.m.
