Student fan bus available for Warren Central baseball game

Warren Central students have the opportunity to take a memorable field trip this week.

The school will run a student fan bus from Vicksburg to Trustmark Park in Pearl on Wednesday for Game 1 of the MHSAA Class 6A baseball championship series between Warren Central and George County.

Permission slips must be turned in to Office A at Warren Central High School by 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Permission slips are also available from Office A.

The bus will leave from Warren Central at 2 p.m. Wednesday, and return after the game at approximately 7:30. The game begins at 4 p.m.

Before boarding the bus, students must show proof of a purchased ticket. They should also bring their own money for the concession stand.

Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased through GoFan.co.

Game 2 of the best-of-three series is Friday at 4 p.m. at Trustmark Park, and if a Game 3 is necessary it’ll be played Saturday at a time to be determined.
