Michael James Knoblauch Smith

Michael James Knoblauch Smith, a Vicksburg resident, passed away Monday, April 29, following a brief illness. He was 68.

He was born October 27, 1955, to Blanche Smith and E. J. Knoblauch. He was an electrician by trade. He also was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to spoil his nieces and nephews,

Michael was preceded in death by both his parents; his wife, Gail Smith; a brother-in-law, Elvin Wescott; and a sister-in-law, Anita Smith.

Michael leaves behind to cherish his memories his brothers, John (Susie) Knoblauch, Brian Smith, Randal (Karen) Smith; his sisters, Patricia Westcott, Karen (David) Bickham and Vanessa (Robert) Craven; his nieces, Malana (Jeremy) Kirby, Danielle (Christopher) Pelas, Kailyn Smith, Erica Bickham, Jessie Bickham, Kimberly Craven; his nephews, Toby Wescott, Elvin Westcott, John Knoblauch Jr and Robbie Craven; and numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and others.

A memorial service is planned for June 8 at the Elevate Church, 3527 Manor Dr.
