Sandra Jean Jones, 68, died Thursday, June 13, at home surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 17, at Trinity Baptist Church in Vicksburg, followed by burial in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends beginning at 9 a.m. Monday at the church.

Sandra was born January 22, 1956, in Carthage, the daughter of John Preston Barrett and Willie Jean Barrett. She graduated from Carthage High School.

A former resident of Pearl, Sandra made her home in Vicksburg, where she worked as a baker for Shipley Donuts.

Sandra enjoyed cooking, watching birds and helping others. She especially cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, John Preston Barrett and Willie Jean Barrett.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, William Floyd Jones of Vicksburg; sons, John Westbrooks and David Lee Renfroe, both of Hinds County; stepdaughter, Donna Lindsey and her husband, Wayne; four grandchildren; and a brother, John Russell Barrett and his wife, Rhonda of Mize.
