[4/25/03]Thursday’s nasty weather didn’t hit Warren County too hard, but it did cause a shakeup in the baseball schedule.

Porters Chapel Academy’s home game against No. 1 Hillcrest (24-1), originally scheduled for today, was pushed back to Saturday at 2 p.m. Hillcrest had a conference doubleheader with Lamar rained out on Thursday, and must play it today.

“It’s going to mess up my pitching a little bit, but I would still like to play them,” PCA coach Randy Wright said.

PCA (23-2) will still open the Academy-A playoffs on the road Tuesday against the winner of the Riverdale-Trinity series. Games two and, if necessary, three, will be at PCA next Friday. The Eagles had a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
