A Brookhaven man was killed after being thrown from his truck Monday in Claiborne County.

Robert H. Durr, 37, of Brookhaven, died when his black 2004 Toyota overturned at 8:05 p.m. on Mississippi 547 North two miles south of Port Gibson, said Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol spokesman Cpl. Odis Easterling.

Durr was not wearing his seat belt and was thrown from the truck, Easterling said.
