Lillie Frances Gerrard, born May 6, 1936 in Eden, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 30, 2011. She was 74.

She attended Redwood School and worked at Morgan & Lindsey Department Store and Kress’ Department Store. She also worked at the polls in the Kings community.

She is survived by her brother, Leroy Hedrick of Hensley, Ark.; her nieces, Helen Goss and Jennifer Harper, both of Vicksburg, Mary Bisbee of Hensley and Rose Kellum of Lake Bruin; her nephews, Roger Hedrick and Tom Akers, both of Vicksburg, and W.C. Hedrick of Hensley; her great-nieces, Stephanie Wade of Biloxi and Pamela Burleson of Brandon; her great-nephews, Jay Harper and Ben Harper of Vicksburg; three great-great-nieces and two great-great-nephews; and her special aunt, Ozelle Hedrick of Vicksburg

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Red” Gerrard; her parents, Walter and Marcie Hedrick; a brother, Carl Hedrick; and her precious son, Phil Heggins.

She was a good Christian lady, and she will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Winkler officiating. Interment will follow at the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon Tuesday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Michael Hedrick, Wiley Hambright, Jay Harper, Ted Crotwell, Jerry Hixson and Johnny Moorehead.

Honorary pallbearer will be Maggie Hedrick.
