A county man was in the Warren County Jail this morning charged with three counts of auto burglary, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Jimmy Hart, 20, 171 Falk Steel Road, was arrested just before 4 a.m. Sunday after deputies spotted him walking in the 100 block of Old Highway 27. After detaining Hart and inspecting his car, which was parked nearby, they found stereo equipment taken from three other cars parked on the street, Pace said.

It was Hart’s second arrest for burglary since December. On Dec. 14, Hart, Daniel Edward Stokes, 17, 1245 Mount Alban Road, and Gary Guillot, 18, 420 Tilton Ranch Road, were charged with breaking into two cars on Alice Place and Douglas Road on Nov. 24 and two cars on St. Patrick Street on Dec. 11.

Hart was released on Dec. 20 on a $7,500 bond. The sheriff’s office is petitioning the district attorney to withhold bail for the latest burglaries, Pace said.

Hart was being held without bond pending an initial court hearing.
