Coast Guard Seaman Recruit Jami Blackledge has graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J. Her eight weeks of training consisted of practical instruction on water safety, military customs, seamanship skills, first aid, firefighting and marksmanship. A 2004 graduate of Warren Central High School, she is the daughter of Alvin and Janice Ashley and Loretta and John Brown.
