Handgun stolen from pickup truck

A .45-caliber Taurus 1911 handgun was reported taken about 10:18 am. Thursday from a Ford F-250 pickup parked in the 100 block of North Washington St.

In other cases:

• A 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser was reported taken about 3:48 p.m. Thursday from the parking lot of the Riverwalk Casino, 1046 Warrenton Road.

• A counterfeit $5 bill was reported passed about 11:29 p.m. Thursday at the WaterView Casino, 3990 Washington St.

Vicksburg police made the following arrests Wednesday:

• Aryon Delexis Petties, 18, 738 Central Ave., was arrested about 5:36 p.m. at Mission 66 on charges of improper equipment, driving with a suspended license and no insurance.

• Warrants were served on Roxanne Nicole Hilderbrand, 36, 106 Meadowbrook Drive. She was also arrested on a charge of contempt of court.

• Warrants were served on Chavez Deandrew Smith, 23, 502 Adams St.

• Warrants were served on William “Dusty” Alvin Jackson, 53, 119 Capri Drive.

• Quinterius Dejuan Berry, 29, 224 Woodvine Road, Lorman, was arrested about 2:47 p.m. on U.S. 61 South on charges of speeding, no insurance and driving with a suspended license. He was also served with warrants.

• Kami Leigh Rhorer, 38, 207 Ludwig Ave., West Monroe, Louisiana, was arrested about 1:58 p.m. in the 4100 block of Washington St. on a charge of disorderly conduct.

• Jermine Donnell McRunnels, 36, 899 National St., was arrested about 12:45 p.m. on U.S. 61 North, on a charge of speeding. He was also served with warrants.

• Joshua Rashad Franklin Jr., 20, 200 Overlook Drive, was arrested about 10 a.m. at the Vicksburg Police Department.
