Crime reports: Police investigate multiple calls of shots fired

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department were called to investigate two separate calls for shots fired Wednesday.

At around 12:50 a.m., officers responded to Lake Street in reference to shots fired. No signs of suspicious activity or evidence of shots fired was found.

At around 7:14 p.m. officers responded to Wisteria Drive in reference to shots fired. No signs of suspicious activity or evidence of shots fired was found.

In another incident, officers responded to Popeye’s at 3309 Pemberton Blvd. at around 10:14 p.m. for an auto burglary.

The victim stated the driver’s window of his 2001 Toyota 4runner was shattered and $300 was missing from his center console.
