A Vicksburg woman was being held at the Issaquena County Correctional facility this morning awaiting extradition after her arrest Thursday by Vicksburg police on a warrant from Washington County, Oregon, Lt. Troy Kimble said.

The arrest was one of two made Thursday by police.

He said Holly Christina Kellum 39, 10150 U.S. 61 South, was arrested after a traffic stop on Pemberton Boulevard when a records check revealed the warrant charging her with one count of aggravated theft and eight counts of first-degree theft.

In another incident, a Vicksburg man faces a charge of possession of a stolen firearm after his arrest during a traffic stop on Chambers Street for having no car tag.

Kimble said Brandon Lane, 24, 1950 Oak St. Apartment 1D is accused of having a handgun reported stolen in the burglary of a Warren County home earlier this year.

In other police activity:

• Police are looking for a man in the theft of a silver 2004 GMC Envoy that was reported taken Thursday from a dentist’s office.

Kimble said the man, a former employee for local car wash, went to the office and told a woman working there he had come to pick up the car and get it washed. He took the keys to the car, drove off and did not return.

• A black 14-foot by 5-foot black single axle trailer containing a green Yamaha Wolverine four-wheeler and two ladder stands, and poles and tires and wheels for a four-wheeler were reported missing from a home in the 300 block of Belva Drive Thursday.
