Warren County sheriff’s deputies and agents with the U.S. Marshal Service’s Fugitive Task Force Monday arrested a woman wanted by Madison County authorities on drug charges, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Krystal Pickett, 29, of Jackson, was arrested about 7:30 a.m. at a home in the 300 block of Lake Hill Drive. She was wanted in Madison County on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was taken into custody by the Marshal’s Service agents and returned to Madison County.

Jonathan Bradley Peets, 28, of Terry, who was with Pickett at the time of her arrest, is accused of hindering prosecution by rendering assistance to a fugitive. He was being held without bail in the Warren Jail pending an initial appearance in Justice Court.

Pace said Madison County has a warrant for Peets for possession of methamphetamine, and a hold has been placed on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for probation violation.
