Vicksburg Police Sgt. Beverly Prentiss talks with James Bowie of J&B Towing Company after an 18-wheeler tipped on its side at North Washington and 61 North Tuesday. Truck driver Brian Wakins of Dyersburg, Tenn., was treated and released from ParkView Regional Medical Center after loads of rolled steel shifted in the truck, causing the truck to flip. One lane of 61 North was blocked at the intersection with North Washington Street for about four hours while the truck was unloaded. A passenger, Brad Daniels, also of Dyersburg, was not injured, Police Sgt. Robert Jackson said. (The Vicksburg Post/MELANIE DUNCAN)
