MINNIE RAE BALDWIN

Minnie Ray Baldwin died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at Heritage House. She was 88.

Mrs. Baldwin was born in Bruce, Miss., but had lived in Vicksburg since 1941. She was a cardiopulmonary specialist and head of the EKG department of The Street Clinic, retiring in 1974. She was a charter member of the National Society of Cardiopulmonary Technologists. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Vicksburg, serving as a Sunday school teacher, WMD leader and as the director of the homebound ministry for many years.

Mrs. Baldwin was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Baldwin Sr.; and a grandson, Troy Beckett Baldwin.

She is survived by three sons, Harold E. Baldwin Jr. of Stuarts Draft, Va., and William Fred Baldwin and Charles David Baldwin, both of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Baldwin will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Pugh, Tom Hill, Randy Oswalt, Kerry Pitts, Robert Peters and Turner Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Martin, Pinkey Ahlrich, Fay Peters, Harry Woods, J.P. White, Clyde McAuley and Arthur Lagg.

MARY ODESSA BONELLI

PASCAGOULA Mary Odessa Bonelli died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, in Pascagoula. She was 73.

Born in Scott County, Mrs. Bonelli had lived in Pascagoula for a number of years. She was a member of the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Grant Bonelli.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ted Hayman of Jackson; and a sister, Bertha Abel of Sebastapol.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg with the Rev. Larry Crawford officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.

LOIS B. McINNIS

Lois B. McInnis died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at Vicksburg Medical Center. She was 81.

A native of Maben, Miss., Mrs. McInnis attended Mississippi State University. For more than 20 years, she served as secretary to the chief of forestry at the Mississippi State Forestry Commission.

She had been a Vicksburg resident for the past 44 years. She was a member and officer of the Engineers Auxiliary. She worked with the Salvation Army and was a member of the Council of Garden Clubs. She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her husband, William L. “Mac” McInnis of Vicksburg; a sister, Luzelle Howard of Gulfport; nephews; and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Geoffrey Joyner officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon Thursday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Walter May, Will Dornbusch, Hugh Green, Joe Tuccio and Sid Tucker.

LUCILLE M. THOMAS

Lucille M. Thomas died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 82.

A homemaker, Mrs. Thomas was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Thomas; her parents, Allen and Betty Lewis Morrow; three brothers; and four sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Willie B. Funches; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
