VIRGIE SHERIFF HENDERSON

RAYMOND Virgie Sheriff Henderson died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 57.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by two sons, Steve Sheriff and Gregory Henderson, both of Raymond; a daughter, Cynthia Seaton of Raymond; two sisters. Elma Carter of Jackson and Almethia Torrey of Raymond; three brothers, Walter T. Sheriff of Vicksburg; Daniel Sheriff of Jackson and Huey Sheriff of Los Angeles; and other relatives, including Ophelia Marshall of Raymond.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Seven Springs Methodist Church in Raymond. Burial will follow at Bracey Cemetery in Raymond under the direction of Cook Funeral Home.

MARY LOU WALKER

Mary Lou Walker died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 48.

Mrs. Walker was a graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School and Mississippi Valley State University. She taught in the Tupelo Public Schools for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lovell and Annie Lee Johnson, and a brother, Hazzy Cross.

Survivors include a son, Emmanuel Payton Walker of Tupelo; a daughter, Kimberlin Nicole Walker Hyde of Tupelo; one brother, Osies Cross of Vicksburg; two sisters, Annie Marie Murphy and Shirley Thomas, both of Vicksburg; and other relatives.

Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
