LILLIAN P. FRANCK

Lillian P. Franck died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002. She was 81.

Mrs. Franck was born in Baltimore, Md., to the late John and Laura Sottor Scheihing. She moved to Vicksburg in 1943.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Franck.

She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Marie Franck of Ellisville, Miss.; two sons, John C. Franck of Fairfax, Va., and Donald J. Franck of Houston, Texas; one brother, Donald Scheihing of Baltimore; one sister, Ruth Tropea of Baltimore; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas McGing, pastor of St. Paul Catholic Church, officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the service at the funeral home.

LOUISE V. KITTRELL

Louise V. Kittrell died today, Aug. 12, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 82.

A native of Texas, Mrs. Kittrell had been a Vicksburg resident most of her life. She was a former member of the Eudie Kavanaugh Home Demonstration Club and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Kittrell, and two brothers, Jimmy Vaughn and Fritz Dunegan.

Survivors include a son, William H. “Billy” Kittrell of Vicksburg; two sisters, Polly Antoine of Vicksburg and Rosa Lee Perez of Key West, Fla.; two grandchildren, Glenn Kittrell and Howard Kittrell, both of Edwards; and three great-grandchildren, Amy Kittrell, Brooke Kittrell and Glenn Alan Kittrell, all of Edwards.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. James O’Riordan, pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon Tuesday until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Antoine, Richard Antoine, Mark Antoine, Glenn Kittrell, Howard Kittrell and Malcolm McMillin.

ROBERT F. MARAMAN

CHEROKEE VILLAGE, Ark. Robert F. “Bob” Maraman died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, in Melbourne, Ark. He was 80.

A native of Paragould, Ark., Mr. Maraman was a resident of Cherokee Village, Ark. He attended college in Detroit and at the University of Alabama, Millsaps College and the University of Tennessee. He was a World War II veteran having served as a communications technician in the Armored Division of the Signal Corps. He was the chief chemist at Vicksburg Chemical Company for 23 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of Spring River Presbyterian Church in Hardy, Ark., and a former member of Hawkins United Methodist church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mort and Bessie Maraman; his brother, Buddy Maraman; and a sister, Shirley Maraman Glossinger.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris Maraman; his son, Alan Maraman of Zachary, La.; his daughter, Lisa Dabney of Vicksburg; three grandchildren; and other relatives, including Linda Maraman of Zachary and Bryan Dabney of Vicksburg.

Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home, Ark., has charge of arrangements.
