DAVID M. KIRKLEY SR.

David M. Kirkley Sr. died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. He was 52.

A beekeeper, Mr. Kirkley was a former employee of Marathon-LeTourneau Co. He was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church in Tallulah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Earlene Brooks Kirkley.

Survivors include his wife, Louise B. Kirkley of Vicksburg; two sons, Lawrence Gene Kirkley of Vicksburg and David M. Kirkley Jr. of Faith, S.D.; two daughters, Tracie Benway and Angel Kirkley, both of Vicksburg; one brother, Eugene Brooks of Tallulah; three sisters, Linda Lane of Lake Charles, La., Judy Adcock of Vicksburg and Elizabeth King of Jeffersonville, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Mike Dunaway and James Hartley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Danny McCammon, Mike Youmans, Joe Thomas, Jimmy Pearson, James Lowe and Johnny Middleton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Beausoliel, Robert Lane, Glen Roberts and Wade Fife.

JIMMIE ANN RAUSCH

Jimmie Ann Rausch died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 62.

A native of Attala County, Mrs. Rausch was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge and had lived in Vicksburg for the past three years. She retired as an apartment complex manager and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Harris Nixon Robertson Jr. of Vicksburg; a brother, William J. McBride Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Betty McHaffy of Brandon; and a grandson, Derek Nixon Robertson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Coxsburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at Riles Funeral Home.

QUENTIN ROSS SANDERSON

Quentin Ross Sanderson died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, in Nashville from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident. He was 19.

Mr. Sanderson was born in El Dorado, Ark., and lived in Vicksburg for 18 years. He attended Warren Central High School before moving to Nashville, where he was employed by Dell Computer Corp.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wallace and Myrtie Sanderson.

Survivors include his father, Albert Sanderson of Nashville; his mother and stepfather, Gail and Peter Irby of Brandon; two brothers, Brandon Derek Sanderson of Nashville and Nicholas Drew Sanderson of Brandon; his maternal grandparents, Louis and Joyce Thornton; and other relatives.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Revs. Kevin Marr and Kenneth Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Tustain, Ronnie Weeks, Trey White, Josh Sherman, Kris McKay, Andy Elqadi, Bradley Wilson and Derek Sanderson.

LEE JAMES WALKER SR.

Services for Lee James Walker Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Grove M.B. Church with the Rev. Robert Branch officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 7 tonight at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home and from noon Wednesday until the service at the church.

Mr. Walker died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. He was 96.

Mr. Walker was retired from LeTourneau. He was a member and deacon at Morning Star M.B. Church. He was a member of Broadwater Lodge No. 55 F&AM.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzetti Williams Walker; a son, Willie George Walker; two brothers, Ned Walker and Johnny Walker; a sister, Willimena Walker; and his parents, Eddie Walker and Selena Cosey.

Survivors include a son, Earnest Lee James Walker; three daughters, Debbie G. Hawkins and Pamela DeFrance, both of Vicksburg, and Clarone Pettis of Memphis; two brothers, Eugene Walker and Clarence Walker, both of Vicksburg; 22 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

JEANNETTE EUGENIA RUSSELL DAVIS

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. Services for Jeannette Eugenia Russell Davis were Sunday at Yokena Cemetery with the Rev. Arbie Goings officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ed Hightower.

Mrs. Davis died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Summit Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was 95.

Mrs. Davis was born in Vicksburg. She lived in Baton Rouge and was a buyer for several department stores and worked at both Miller Buick Auto Company and Standard Insurance Real Estate.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin D. Davis.

She is survived by a niece, Lynda Gayle Norman Daniels, and two great-nephews, Lee Robert Daniels of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lane Charles Daniels of Houston, Texas.
