Rosa A. Temple Class of 1968 Reunion meeting, 7 tonight at King Solomon Church Hall.

Kiwanis Noon Tuesday, Maxwell’s; Gen. Richard Coleman with the U.S. Army Reserves will speak.

Lions No meeting Wednesday.

Port City Kiwanis 7 a.m. Thursday at Shoney’s; Jim Chaney, attorney for Vicksburg-Warren School Board will speak on school law related matters; Pat Simrall, 634-8363; public is welcome.

Daughters of the American Revolution 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Piccadilly; Joseph Gerache will speak on the Civil War period.

John C. Pemberton Camp of Sons of Confederate Veterans Thursday’s meeting has been rescheduled for May 8.

Public programs

Public Library Tuesday: 10:30 a.m., preschool story time and a craft; Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. preschool story time and a craft; 3:30 p.m., after school arts and crafts.

Blood Drive 1 until 5 p.m. Tuesday in the bloodmobile at Wal-Mart; low on O positive, O negative and B positive types; each donor will receive a free T-shirt; sponsored by United Blood Services.

National Day of Prayer A prayer breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. Thursday at Battlefield Inn, $6.15 per person; Martin Pace, Warren County sheriff, will be the guest speaker; call 634-8701 for reservations; prayer will be held at 10 locations around Vicksburg, 12:15-12:45 p.m.

Basketball Game Warren Yazoo Mental Health staff vs. Wal-Mart SuperCenter staff, 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Vicksburg Junior High School gym; $1 for adults and 50 cents for children; refreshments, entertainment and door prizes available.

Postal carrier food drive The annual drive for non-perishable food items in Warren County will be May 10; food should be left near mailboxes or taken to the post office on Pemberton Boulevard; food will go to local churches and agencies for the poor.

Calvary Baptist Spring revival, 7 tonight through Thursday, 406 Kline St.; the Rev. J.A. Sills of Greenville is the guest speaker; the Rev. R.T. Strong is host pastor.

Mount Olive Baptist Revival, 7 tonight through Friday, 1925 Baldwin Ferry; the Rev. Leonard Walker is the guest speaker; the Rev. Leon Nelson Jr. is pastor.
