Stephen Paul Sitton

LAKE PROVIDENCE Stephen Paul Sitton died Saturday, May 24, 2003, in Ruston, La. He was 22.

Mr. Sitton was a lifelong resident of Lake Providence and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Briarfield Academy and received his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University. He was a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity.

Mr. Sitton is survived by his parents, Joseph Paul and Suzanne Marie Sitton, both of Lake Providence; one sister, Melissa Sitton of Memphis; his grandparents, Thomas J. and Mildred Sitton of Lake Providence and Donald D. and Rosie Marie Vogt of Limestone, Tenn.; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lake Providence with the Rev. Joseph Zacharius officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Lake Providence.

Visitation will be today at Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence, and the rosary will be said at 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Gerbert, Nathan Wiens, David Oswalt, Thomas Terral, Alex Ramos and B.J. Martien.
