[6/26/03]The Vicksburg Baby Gators, a U-8 soccer team, went 2-1 and finished fifth out of nine teams in their age group at the State Games of Mississippi in Meridian.

The Baby Gators beat Meridian twice, 3-0 and 2-0, but lost to Gulfport 4-0. Gulfport’s last goal knocked the Baby Gators out of the medal round on a goal-differential tiebreaker.
