Michael Beaufait Faust
SALEM, Ore. Michael Beaufait Faust died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, as the result of an automobile accident. He was 26.
Mr. Faust grew up in Salem, Ore., and moved to Portland, Ore., to study respiratory therapy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Eleanor Beaufait of Vicksburg.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Beaufait; his father, Russell W. Faust; a sister, Karen Faust; and friends and other relatives, including Fran Beaufait of Vicksburg.
A memorial service was held Sept. 15 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Salem.
Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Wilbur Lee Ford
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Wilbur Lee Ford died Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at the West Park Healthcare Convalescent Home in Indianapolis, Ind. He was 84.
Mr. Ford was born in Vicksburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Ford Sr.; his mother, Mary Nelson Ford; a sister Beatrice E. Ford Lyles; and a brother, Andrew Ford Jr.
Survivors include a brother, George H. Ford of Vicksburg; three sisters, Mary L. Ford Hicks and Carrie V. Ford Garrett, both of Vicksburg, and Barbara Ford Jackson of Aurora, Ill.; nieces, nephews, the Wright, Ford and Carpenter families, relatives and friends.
Boatright Funeral Home of Indianapolis has charge of the arrangements.
Quatezes Omarion Rogers
PORT GIBSON Quatezes Omarion Rogers, infant son of Lucretia Denis Rogers of Port Gibson and Michael Smith of Carlisle, Miss., died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at River Region Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Joseph and Esther Rogers of Port Gibson; a great-grandmother, Rosa Lee Farmer of Port Gibson; an uncle, Joseph Rogers Jr. of Port Gibson; an aunt, Brittany Rogers of Port Gibson; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 9 a.m. today at McCay Cemetery in Russum with the Rev. Barry Thompson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson.
