Floyd Rossetti Sr.

SHAW, Miss. Floyd Rossetti Sr. died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 89.
Born in Arcola, Mr. Rossetti was a resident of Shaw, Miss. He was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Annie Rossetti; two brothers, Frank Rossetti and Lewis Rossetti; and a sister, Pauline Giachelli.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Rossetti of Shaw; two sons, Floyd Rossetti Jr. of Vicksburg and James Rossetti of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Mary Ann Haley of Vicksburg and Linda Brocato of Tampa, Fla.; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Rays Funeral Home of Cleveland has charge of arrangements.
Clarice Sessions
Clarice Sessions died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 79.
A native of Hero, Miss., Mrs. Sessions had been a Vicksburg resident for the past 53 years. She retired as a nurse’s aide from the Sidney Convalescent Home. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Sessions; a daughter, Faye Wooten; a son, Robert Earl Sessions; nine brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley A. Miles of Rolling Fork; one sister, Cora Hatcher of Meridian; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home with David Gale officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon Saturday until the service at the funeral home.
Great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be great-granddaughters, Dr. Paul Pierce and the staff members of River Region CCU.
Jermond A. Watson
PORT GIBSON Jermond A. Watson died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, as the result of an automobile accident on U.S. 61 South in Warren County. He was 21.
Mr. Watson was a member of Springhill M.B. Church in Port Gibson. He was serving in the Navy, stationed aboard the Kitty Hawk in Okinawa, Japan.
He is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Christine Watson of Port Gibson; a brother, Lawrence Watson Jr. of Port Gibson; three sisters, Jackie Watson, Nicole Watson and Glendolin Watson, all of Port Gibson; his maternal grandmother, Mildred Coleman of Pattison; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including Sanae Kawahara.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Springhill M.B. Church with the Rev. Jonathan Hamlin officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 until 6 today at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Port Gibson and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service at the church.
