[3/2/04]Warren Central took 4-out-of-5 matches Monday to defeat Florence in the first tennis match of the season.

Caitlin Shelton defeated Kristian Kelly, 6-1, 6-0, in girls’ singles, and the team of Katie Malik and Lori Beth Shelton won the girls’ doubles match, 6-0, 6-0.

Keith Klaus teamed up with Steven Faulk to win the boys’ doubles 6-2, 6-7 (11), 7-5, and the mixed doubles team of Andrew Hendrix and Kali Shelton won their match, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
