Willie Kemp

Willie Kemp died Friday, March 5, 2006, at River Region Medical Center. He was 73.

Mr. Kemp was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mat Sinking Unit. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and a brother.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Diane Young of Detroit; two grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Williams Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Lois M. McHand

TALLULAH Lois M. McHand died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 71.

Born in Pineville, Miss., Mrs. McHand lived most of her live in Tallulah. She was a homemaker and a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

Mrs. McHand is survived by two sisters, Molly Leonard of West Monroe and Olla Mae Wilkerson of Forest, Miss.; three brothers, Darryl Harris, Roy Harris and R.C. Harris, all of Forest; four nieces, Carolyn Sanders, Liz McHand, Sara McHand and Kathy McHand, all of Tallulah; three great-nieces and one great-nephew.

Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Epps Cemetery with Brother Samuel Stamey officiating and Glenwood Funeral Home handling arrangements.
