[3/19/04]Warren Central took a close match with Vicksburg Thursday afternoon, winning 3-2.

Vicksburg’s singles’ players Jordan Henry and Angelique Moffett won their matches, but the three WC doubles team won theirs.

The boys doubles team of Keith and Steven Klaus defeated Coleman Morrison and Chris Brown. The girls doubles team of Katie Malik and Lori Beth Shelton beat VHS’ Catherine Figueroa and Grace Gaas, and the mixed doubles team of Andrew Hendrix and Kali Shelton defeated Dewey Shaifer and Shelly Simmons.

Henry defeated Eike Duen in straight sets, and Moffett defeated Caitlyn Shelton in three sets in a match that lasted 2 1/2 hours.
