Josh Gordon added a two-run home run and Mark Different went the distance on the mound, allowing eight hits and three walks with three strikeouts. The Vikings improved their record to 11-2 on the season.
The Vikings got on the board early with a pair of runs in the first inning. Carson and Allen Carlisle each singled and scored on passed balls.

But Barbe (11-6) responded in the third inning with three runs on four hits to tie the game.
Warren Central came right back in the bottom half with Gordon’s two-run blast.
“We answered them right back,” Broome said. “That was big-time.”
In the fourth, Balthrop reached on error, advanced on a sacrifice bunt by John Rice Pettway and scored on a single by Carson.
Two innings later, Balthrop singled, advanced on a Pettway bunt and scored again on a Carson single. Gordon then singled in Warnock to give the Vikings an 8-3 lead.
