Everline Mack King

Everline Mack King died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 102.

Mrs. King was a resident of Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John King Sr.; a son, John King Jr.; a daughter, Rosie Lee Grover; and a grandson, Joseph L. Miller.

She is survived by a daughter, Clara Miller of Vicksburg; a son, Marshall Bridge of Gary, Ind.; two grandsons whom she reared, Allen “Jobo” Harris of Gary, Ind., and Albert Lewis of Saginaw, Mich.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Williams Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.

Nellie Sellers

Nellie Sellers died Friday, May 7, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 82.

A native of Beaumont, Miss., Mrs. Sellers was a longtime resident of Hattiesburg before moving to Vicksburg seven years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Hattiesburg. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son, Myron L. Phillips of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Lelia N. Hazlett of Biloxi; a brother, Bill Yarbrough of Wiggins, Miss.; a sister, Mildred Tolito of Biloxi; two grandchildren, Nelda Jeannine Brown of Vicksburg and Jeffery A. Hazlett of Pensacola, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Green’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Petal, Miss., with the Rev. Steve Mainons officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.

Judy Irene Truelove

DELHI Judy Irene Truelove died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 53.

Born in Quelin, Mo., Mrs. Truelove had lived in Waverly, La., and was a longtime resident of Delhi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Pleasant and Vivian Christie Pleasant, and a brother, Clyde Pleasant.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie Truelove of Delhi; a son, Andy Truelove of Delhi; a daughter, Alana Truelove of Monroe; two brothers, Zindel Pleasant and Bobby Pleasant; five sisters, Peggy Cooper, Patsy Pleasant, Maxine Minyard, Donna Allen and Ilene Marler; and nieces, nephews and other relatives, including Velma Louise Truelove of Delhi .

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Waverly Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 9 tonight at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi.

Pallbearers will be John Hilderbrand, Ryman Busby, Casey Baker, Jason Huff, John Herrington and Phillip Williams.
